Bree flew out to Utah for the last few days of our vacation. She hadn't been in years. These are the pictures from her camera. Warning there's alot. I'll spare you my ramblings.
I love your new kitchen backsplash. Cute pictures of the girls! Yes, we made it. No, I can't blog about it yet because we don't have real internet. We are using a pocket wifi device and it is almost as painful as dial up. I can't upload pictures so no blogging yet. So far so good in Australia! We got here Thursday morning and the first thing we did was buy two cars. I drive an 8 seater van and Doug drives a little car to work. The flight wasn't bad at all. We got on the plane really late for East Coast Time in San Fran. When we saw the seats, we were amazed. Each of us had a pretty good sized TV with TV shows, movies, games, etc. They fed us yummy food and the best part is each of our seats reclined to flat so we slept so well. Picture us in hospital beds on an airplane and that's how we travelled. We have only gone to the ward one time since it was stake conference our first Sunday here. The ward seems really nice. I guess all of the Americans are in another ward, but that's ok. We will get to know all the Aussies. The boys went to school five days after we got here. So far they love school. They are at the Anglican private school, and I can't wait to show you what they wear. It is all very Harry Potterish. They even have houses and Spencer and James are in the house with a lion mascot and red as their color--just like Gryffindor. They even get house points. Cooking is interesting here trying to convert everything from F to C and using the metric system. A lot of things are raw in the middle and well done on top. Still trying to figure our our oven. I don't think they have any Mexicans here; trying to find Mexican food at the grocery store is kind of a joke. Hopefully, we'll get our internet soon and you can see what we're up to. Miss you guys!
