The Sunday before Christmas

 Everyone was dressed in their new church clothes and looking cute.

 I scoured the city for a little selection of Christmas books our company would enjoy.

 We have a used bookstore that was a great source and the thrift store was also helpful.

 Ignore that huge pile of presents, I said I would not get carried away this year.

Not sure how this happened.  Oh well, it's Christmas.

Tradition

 When a certain uncle comes to town a trip to In and Out Burger is a must.

Good thing Parker and Blakelee went to the ice rink so they could get in on the food portion of the day.

Christmas Eve

 Bree finally had a day off and she wanted to go ice skating.

 It was a perfect day for it.

 Just cold enough for pretty good ice

 but sunny.

 Our favorite kind of skating weather.

Parker and Blakelee were just there for moral support, they wouldn't skate.

Ye Olde Gingerbread house

 Our secret santa brought us a gingerbread house kit.

 We saved it until company came.

 Patience.

 Looking pretty good.

 This kit thing is a good idea.

 Wait a second, is it just me or is the roof sliding off.

Quick take a picture before the whole thing falls apart.  So let's just say the kit isn't perfect either.  But it is fun.

Company for Christmas

So cute.

Christmas is exhausting

 We believe in wearing our guests out, much quieter that way.

 Pizza for dinner.  Parker's favorite.

 We had alot of fun having company for Christmas this year.

The wishbone

 I'm not sure who brought the turkeys wishbone home but I was tired of looking at it on the shelf.

 I just needed to kids to pull on it, these two will do.

 The looks on their faces trying to decide their wish was priceless, didn't get that picture.  Blakelee won.

No wish for Reese.  Oh well, back to their 11:30 breakfast.
