A timely happy halloween

No matter how old you get you still have to carve a pumpkin.
Reese and Blakelee wanted a ride to their friends so they dug right in.
The mad hatter is always helpful.
I let them choose the simplest pattern.
And we always get complimented on them.

Parker's is a shadow. It was carved on the front and back so that monster made a shadow on the house.
I twisted Keely's arm and shamed her with, I will tell the 5 people who read my blog that you wouldn't participate.  That got her moving.

I think I say this every year, it's hard to photograph lit pumpkins.

I decided to change things up this year, spooky Halloween instead of cute.
The zombies picture came in handy.
The dollar store was my best find, I found more fun stuff there.

The best part was not having to dust for a month, it fit right in with spooky Halloween.  The thrift store was also very helpful.  I bought cheap frames there and spray painted them black for my changing pictures.
This one was the best, a couple in a wedding picture, in the picture above you can see they turn into skeletons, right next to our wedding cake top.

Wait, maybe this was the best. With our own poison apple. At any rate I had a fun time changing everything up.  I'm hooked on spooky Halloween.

Officer Blue

 Our favorite cast member.
We spotted Officer Blue hanging out on a corner in California Adventure and had to talk to him.
Is this just the cutest costume ever?
 And Calvin Blue was adorable.
Right down to his black and white shoes.  Another fun memory from the "happiest place on earth".
Reese wanted a picture of the Mickey pretzel we shared.
We made it on cars.  With lots of waiting and going back and forth.
A bad picture but you get the idea.  The newspaper girl in front of the Bugle.

Gettin a little tired

Three days of Disneyland can wear a person out.
A little trivia at this point.  Gregg is wearing the same color shirt everyday of our vacation.
Our first ride of each day was the Tower of Terror.
And not once did Reese open her eyes for the picture.  Reese was the only one screaming in our car and we are all laughing at her.
We missed going together on the last day.

Not enough of our own kids so we picked up another one.

Giving the camera to the girls made for alot more pictures.

Bree liked her fanny pack so much she wore it on Wednesday as well.

We had a fun filled three days.  Our kids were so excited to go and made the most of it.  And yes, we are still paying for it.  Seven, three day park hoppers are not cheap but it was worth every penny.  The only thing better would have been having the Fields there with us.  Or the Richs, since they were in California.  Looking forward to our next trip to the House of Mouse.
