Mock Trial

I was summoned to the first district court on Thursday to see Parker trying to recover money on behalf of B B Wolf.
Some of the audience.

That's the attorney in the red hair.

Cross-examining the pig.

Attorney and his client.

The whole cast. Too bad for Parker it was a hung jury. I don't think the jury could hear what B B Wolf was saying. I read the script, Parker should have won and according to the baliff usually does. What a fun field trip.

Costume Time

We have Miss Piggy in the back, three fairies and a dead pirate.
Not bad for the last minute. Thanks to grandma who whipped up the tutus.

Off to the ward party for soup and chili.

Nice fairy make-up, I don't know about that hair.
This is good fairy hair.

Parker playing the dead role well.

The pig with her frog.

Binky eyeing the loot.

UNR Homecoming Parade

I didn't know there was such a thing and I've lived here most of my life.
The things you discover when you have a college kid. This was probably the best float. Yes Gregg the pictures are washed out because we were on the wrong side of the street.
I could show you a picture of every float (I think that's what they are calling them) this parade was so short. The whole thing lasts about 20 minutes.
That just lent more time for a photo shoot on the UNR campus.

This is a beautiful college campus.

And just look at these co-eds in training.

No qualms about picture taking with these girls.

Nice shoes.

Posers.

Where did we get these kids?

They are fun.

San Fran

Bree and I made a quick trip to San Francisco before she started school. We took Julia with us and picked up Brian along the way. She assured me I would have access to the pictures from her camera since she made me forget mine in the car and said I couldn't go back for it. Liar. I'll wear her down.

UNR class of 2014

We have a college student and I got to hang out with her for opening ceremony. She's out there somewhere.
The class of 2014 is the largest freshman class in the schools history. Some of the professors marching in.

Super cool candle ceremony. This picture does not do justice to how neat this was.

Here's my college kid with her new college buddy Ryan. My friend Jane's son is a freshman too. I thought UNR did a great job with the opening ceremony and we got a free lunch out of it to boot. Bree worked really hard her senior year to get the millenium scholarship to UNR. Way to go Bree.

The lone wolf

Parker is the last Sarah Winnemucca attendee. He hated going to school a month before the girls but is looking forward to just the two of us hanging out in November. He informs me that we are going to the movies and game stop while he's off track. FUN!

Running Reese

Reese is trying new things this year. Our mean running machine.
No music or drama, sports for this girl. Cross country for starters.
Yes that's Blakelee's back she's a cross country drop out.

Tennis anyone

Keely took lessons from her dad this summer and made the tennis team.
This was a major accomplishment. When she was little she would cry because she couldn't hit the ball. Way to go Keely. Do you like her outfit Natalie?

Football Season

Gregg is the voice of the Lancers again. This was homecoming. They got a new sound system so we can hear him this year.

The things we do for love

For my dad's birthday I suggested we paint his house. He liked the idea. Parker mentioned that the trailer was dirty but he wasn't going to help clean it.
Here we are in full force painting the garage. Parker said he shouldn't ask for painting next year.

This is a stand alone garage on the back of their property, built last year. We painted all four sides in between conference sessions. Go Donnelly paint crew. A few high parts and the trim and were done.
