Bree's new ride

A friend of ours was selling this cute bug and once Bree saw it she had to have it.
It didn't help that Roy (the seller) kept mentioning that Bree would look good in this car.
You guessed it, we are the proud new owners of this Lancer blue (Bree's school color) beetle.
She insists she'll pay us for it so she can keep it all to herself.

Cub Scouts

Parker is a cub scout now and I am his den leader. We meet with two other dens and Wed. we went to the high school soccer game for our field trip. I'm proud to say I can name all the boys in this picture (and the leaders). It took me awhile, a bunch of boys all dressed alike can be very confusing. They are a fun and energetic bunch.

Reno Balloon races

Last Friday morning we left the house to all the balloons flying and landing in our neighborhood. We took a little detour on the way to honor choir to check them out. It was fun to see the kids at the bus stops looking and pointing and balloons everywhere. I caught the bunny landing by blockbuster on my way to work (o.k. I took another detour). There is nothing like fall in Reno and balloons in the sky... love it.

Football Season

Friday was the first home football game thus the wierdos come out. Bree and her friend Janese in basketball shorts that I wore at that school. No idea where the socks came from.
Cool car decorating.
Janae, Keely, Bree, Reese and Janese. I think they said they just randomly picked the number ten they have no idea who that player is.
Little Lancer fans. We won the game!

One Size Fits All

Brought to you by Bree D.

We found these at Ross. $5.99. They are not pants, they are stretchy pants! Blakelee and Keely were fighting over who got to wear them to school. So we had to go back and buy another pair. Even though it is sad that they were even made, we bought 2 so i guess they got some kind of profit from them.

Grandma Retires

The people from her dept. had a lunch for her. We all showed up for that of course.
Parker and his little smokey.
Then they threw a party and served punch and cake and had some people speak nice words that had worked with her over the years.
She got a cool trophy.
Reese and Blakelee gave grandma flowers in front of everyone. Parker is climbing under the table.
More of the lunch bunch.
For those of you who know my mom this was a complete surprise. She worked for the School District for thirty years, twenty four in payroll. Our vacations revolved around payroll. I think we all thought she would never leave this job. Gregg and I are sorry we don't have an in in payroll anymore but we are very happy to have more time and easier vacation planning in the furture with the Adams. There were alot of very nice sentiments from her co-workers. I'm sure she'll miss her friends.
