Spring break, sunny day how about a little hike.
We are headed to the N. This is a monument to celebrate the basque sheep herder.

From the road it looks like a big iron thing. Up close you can see the shepherd and lamb.

Little detour on the way to the N. Trees to climb.

Can't miss the orange Reese.
Dad, take my picture.

Ah out of order. We were quite winded at this point.

Not sucking air just yet.
We made it. Note to self, tell Blakelee plugging nose not the best look in pictures.

Reese in the orange rocks. It's not always painted like a rainbow. It's usually just white.

Only our family stops to play ball on the way back down.

I never did see Parker break out that book he brought.

Nothing like tossing the ball around up on the hill.
Gregg loves the background in this one.

I see the N.
Three wierd kids.

More fun in the trees.
Worn out when we finally got back.

Can Can

I should have gotten right on this post, it was a good cause. This was Reese and my favorite. It was a diner with booth seating, a little table with sodas and not pictured the juke box.
At the mall classes from different schools made sculptures out of cans. All the cans were donated to the food bank afterward. Parker and Cory voted for the snake.

The public could vote on their favorite by paying $1 per vote. That money was also given to the food bank. This says "one can we can" and the thing in the middle is a person.
This is hard to pick up in the picture. It's a boom box with headphones. That's the cord on the ground behind Reese.

This is a bulldog. Can you see it?

You can see the mouth in this picture, it's being blocked by Cory's head in the other shot.

Smore Cake

Parker and Gregg had to make a cake for the blue and gold.

One round one a few squares, some white frosting, two shades of brown and we have...
the smore cake. Interesting looking but tasted delicious.
