Fifteen years ago...

Keely Shaye was born. I don't think it's any secret she was my favorite baby. She never cried. She has since made up for that. Keely is a happy girl. She is kind to everyone. When you tell Keely she shouldn't do something or not to talk back to you she says "o.k." and she obeys. Scary I know but nice. Keely likes to read, play tennis and basketball, play just dance and any wii singing game (she's the champ at this). She play the flute in the school band for the last three years but gave that up for all her sports. She is currently running track. She is a pig. Don't want you to think she's all good. She gets A's in school, is a good friend and sister. We are so happy to have Keely in our family. We love you Keely!
I decided I've been a cake slacker the last few years.

I've repented of my lazy ways and made a fun cake for Keely.

She got this tennis backpack for Christmas. I took it down to the mall and had it embroidered.

It was a quiet party but Keely loved it.

Sad to say my pile of tennis balls did not work out. I couldn't find plain donut holes. Glazed ones cannot be glazed again, who knew?

Kimmie came for dinner. She brought a huge balloon to school for Keely that sang. Everyone knew it was her birthday.
I think she was there when I bought most of her presents but hey if you want it, you want it.

The bag was a surprise. I don't know how we didn't get a picture opening the racket. She was excited about that as well. Wait you can just see it buried under the clothes.

  1. Happy Birthday, Keely. I will always remember how many years I've been married based on how old Keely is since she was just a few months old at our wedding. Wow, I can't believe we've been married for fifteen years.

  3. Happy Birthday Keely - I remember I always thought you looked just like a little cupie doll as a baby - darling little thing and you still are!! Your mom did an exceptional job on the cake - the first picture I thought it was going to be a hot air balloon though.
