After hours of culinary practice, the moment finally arrived. State competition. The Donnelly's and Adams were out in force at 7:30 a.m.

to watch Bree and her team cook.

They get one hour to make their meal. Salad, Entree and dessert.

The last minute is so stressful. We didn't think they would ever get the food on the plates.

Here's the team with their creations. They took fifth place, picture of the medal to follow. This is a huge accomplishment considering that in Vegas they have charter schools for culinary. There were some very serious young chefs walking around checking out Bree's team while they worked their food magic. Way to go Mcqueen and Bree we are so happy for you guys. (side note over 30 teams competed)
Way to Go! What did you make? You need to come to Utah and share your skills.
ReplyDeleteYeah, we'd love to know what she made and if she's willing to share her recipes.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Bree! I would also love to know what she made. The other thing I want to know is where she got her "love of cooking" gene from? I know how much Jeri loves to cook since I have grocery shopped with her on many occasions.
