No fun

Some criminals in IL, Homewood to be exact went on a spending spree yesterday with my debit card. They got away with $1300 and change before the fraud alert shut them down. I would have loved to see their faces when they were denied at Macy's. Of course they probably had another stolen account to charge against. The little kids are off track so we're all going on a field trip to the police station to file a report. The worst part no debiting for 7-10 days, how inconvienant. Parker wants to go to the police dept. to see people get killed (good thing we have a counselor in the family). Reese asked if I caught the person when I came back from the bank. No such luck.

  1. That happened to us last year with Steve's debit card. They only got $500 worth though. The bank was GREAT and gave us all the money back. Sure ticked us off though. Hope they get caught.

  3. That's aweful! How did they get a hold of your card? I hope you get the money back and they get caught. Huge pain not being able to use your debit card for a while too. Hope it all works out in the end.

  4. Been there, done that, and it totally stinks. Sorry you have to go through all the hassle. What a pain. Gregg's trip looked fun. The great perks of school counseling!
