Fun, Fun, Fun

We took the crew out to Circus Circus for the first time ever. Except Bree who is on a date with a boy instead of with her family.
Keely and Reese tore it up at skeeball.

We played games, won tickets, got candy and watched a chinese acrobat show.

On the way out they wanted to know when we were going back. Here are the nuts in their clown car.
Fine dining at Wendy's for dinner afterward. Arlene and Shao came to visit but they missed the photo opps. We went home and had fun playing wii and enjoyed caramel apples from Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory with them. Thanks for coming. Sorry you didn't make it in pictures.

It's the little things

We finally started painting our house. The weather has been unseaonably warm here and we took advantage. Yes it's coming up on the two year mark(since we finished our addition), if anyone is keeping track but painting the outside wasn't nearly as fun as finishing things on the inside. It's also hard, dirty work. I got a cool paint sprayer for my birthday from my parents and it went real fast. I for one am very happy about this. Thanks to Keely and Gregg.

Long Day

I'm not sure what this look of Gregg's is. One of the kids thought Cinnamon would be a good animal for the navity, that's why she's wearing her leash in the house. We set them straight. Cinnamon is a terror on a leash. No self respecting nativity players would be drug around by this dog. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. I had the family help with the Christmas letters this year, thus the misspellings and non personal message at the bottom. I was just grateful to get them out.

Christmas morning

We woke up to snow and more snow.
Santa did make it through to leave the goods. Not that anyone here believes in Santa. Once they stopped believing I started wrapping it's more fun to watch them open gifts. I did have them fooled with this though some of these are prop packages and they thought they were all fake.

Gregg making them wait on the couch in the family room, the tree is in the front room, he's never quite sure how santa left the gifts (he's fast alseep when santa comes).
We bought the kids the Wii this year, thinking Brian might want his XBOX back when he gets off his mission. Grandma and Grandpa Adams bought us rock star to go with it. Since we are a bunch of wannabes this was the perfect gift.

Dressing up the tree

Blakelee had to get Binky involved.

Nice face.

That's one of Gregg's ornaments.

I think this is a smile.

The crew with the finished product. Now Parker can relax.

Burglar alert

I just ran to the grocery story and was gone probably less than an hour. When I got home my neighbor was standing outside and gestured for me to come over. She had been robbed. I didn't see anything suspicious when I left, the dog wasn't barking. It must have happened very fast. I'm so grateful we have a dog and keep our house pretty tightly locked up. Please everybody be careful.

Skating in the cold

This big tree was by the ice rink so I made everyone hike over to it in there skates for a picture.
Parker getting into the skating this year and doing very good.

Kimmie and Keely. Kimmie said her legs hurt after the first time around and Keely told her to suck it up. No going home that soon.
Reese and Blakelee are old pros these days. It seems like just yesterday Reese was clinging to the wall the whole time.
Bonus! Santa was there. We haven't had a picture with Santa for years so I insisted. We finished off the evening with hot cocoa and a good Christmas movie. Thanks for coming along Kimmie.

Keely plays ball

Keely made the Billinghurst Middle School (gold) basketball team.
Not bad considering she only played one other time in her life and said she was horrible. It was a debate whether or not to try out. Our advice, well you are tall.

She was so thrilled to make the team. Her playing time got better as the season went on and she scored some points along the way.
She was real good at blocking out. Way to go Keely!

Happy Thanksgiving

Mom decided we needed new pictures for our blog so we went to downtown Reno to take these pictures. The photographer was Dad and the kids were the models.
Us girls modeling waiting for our bikes.

This wall/gate was fun to climb.

Lil Reesie
When Dad said individual pictures now, Parker said, " I know what my pose is gonna be." and we were expecting fighting warrior or ninja or padawan. But instead he was a corpse. Nice.
Blakelee wanted pictures of herself every place we went, and she wanted action. I guess just sitting and smiling are overrated in her world.
Me swinging on a pole.
Keely. This is Moms favorite background.
